Back in the mid-to-late 80’s I was at the (then 4 story) headquarters building pulling a wire. As I was walking down the hallway a distinguished gentleman passed and said “good morning David”.
I found out later that it was John Barnes and, to this day, I am impressed and amazed that he knew my name! And this was before name badges!
