I began working in April 1999 for Catawba Services which was the video services division of Rock Hill Telephone Company. I began as secretary for the Video Services Manager. We still had Cable TV offices located in Rock Hill, Fort Mill, York, Lancaster and Winnsboro. Then not long after, we all consolidated under Comporium Communications. After almost 12 years, I transferred into the Facilities and Construction department where I have remained since. While in F & C, I joined Comporium Pioneers where I worked in many community projects and loved it! It feels so good to know we are part of our local community. I have also worked other projects with the Comporium Pioneers such the Waggin’ Trail Dog Walk, Earth Day at the Museum, Back to School book bag donations and many more.
My career has been an amazing journey in gaining so much experience from video technology to building maintenance to fleet maintenance. I have had the privilege of getting to know departments all over including Brevard and Midlands. I have gained so many friends. I have always felt like Comporium is one big family and I am proud to be part of the family.
