I don't remember the year but it was after Mr. Frank, Barnes, Sr. had passed away and cell phones were becoming the "Thing". Rock Hill Telephone Company decided to get on the bandwagon. I asked Frank, Jr. if he thought Mr. Frank would be surprised at this new invention. He said "No". That just added to my thoughts about how the Barnes family has always put customer service and the customer first with employees right behind. That came from their grandparents. And I saw that in all my almost 37 years that I worked
with them.
