I began my career with Comporium in April 1999. Back then, we worked in the Business Technology building across the street from York Tech on the top floor. I have made many friends while working with Comporium these last 21+ years. Wow!! Did I say 21+ years? My children, who are now 24 and 22, were 2 years old and 6 months back then. They have literally grown up with Comporium. One of my most memorable times was when we implemented Thumb Telephone in Thumb, Michigan. Back then, we supported telephone companies all over the United States and in Canada. This implementation gave me the opportunity to fly with a small group from IT to Michigan. What a memorable experience. I remember working in a war room until 2AM so that we could fix issues with the systemin order for the phone company to be up and running the next morning. It is a whole different experience when you are in a telephone office and the employees encounter a glitch in a newly delivered system. The implementation was very successful, and we made some good memories. I got to sit on the side of Lake Michigan.
