Building Bridges by Serving the Community
I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase: “Comporium is Community” … It’s more than just a slogan, it’s a way of life for our employees, particularly the Pioneers. It’s a concept that’s both stated and lived by our folks from the field to our corporate headquarters.
One of the best memories of seeing this love of and involvement in the community has been through the partnership we have built with Habitat for Humanity of York County. We’ve had the privilege to help Habitat with both repair projects in Fort Mill’s Paradise neighborhood and new builds in Rock Hill. Through those projects, I’ve had a chance to see hundreds of our employees excitedly step up to help their neighbors make a safer place to call home.
We’ve also had the chance to get to know each other better and to build bonds with fellow employees in departments with which we have little opportunity to spend time otherwise. Since 2014, we’ve been able to help dozens of homeowners, build countless relationships, and make the place we all call home just a little bit better.
