Pioneers do so much to help out our community! From blood drives, Rolling in Rock Hill to repair homes, raising money for things like Light the Night Walk (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) and Waggin Trail for the animal shelter, taking Christmas dinners to those families in need, breakfast for the Soldiers, working with Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild a community, and building ramps for those with mobility issues.
It was so much fun working with these guys building a ramp. I think they were surprised when they figured out a girl can haul lumber, measure, cut, and use a drill. (My daddy raised me right!)
Doing these projects is a blessing to the community but even more of a blessing to us. We have made many life long friends through Pioneering and our outreach to the community.
Pioneers Rock!
