Those who know me know that Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I love to celebrate for as long as possible. I have helped with Comporium Pioneer’s Christmas Calling and find it one of our best events and not just because it is a Christmas one. It brings together current employees, retired employees, family members and the community. The retirees really help make this event possible. They pour all their holiday and Comporium spirit into it each year. It is such a treat to volunteer with them and to learn all about their lives. While helping the children make ornaments, we get to talk with people from all over our community. I have reconnected with friends I had lost contact with and made new friends at this event. The picture is from 2017 of my daughter, Abby, with Mrs. Claus!
