Exceptional Equestrians

The Exceptional Equestrians Program began in the late 1970s to serve area children and adults with special needs. Ms. Anne Springs Close began a partnership with the Rock Hill Parks & Recreation department and began offering therapeutic riding for children and adults with disabilities.  The Pioneer Club has been volunteering with the program at the Anne Springs Close Greenway for the last few years to help give individuals with special needs a fun, yet therapeutic experience.
