In February of 2014 just after a snowstorm (I know that doesn’t happen very often) several of us from Media Services cooked and delivered a meal to the Salvation Army shelter. We provided a hot dinner of ham, mac-n-cheese, green bean casserole, pineapple casserole, along with bread and desserts.
“Because of the snowy weather, we also put together a tote bag for each woman with a new pair of socks and multiple snacks, which we all know we crave when stuck inside! For the 9 year old we loaded up a bag with markers, colored pencils, drawing pad, puzzle and coloring books, easy crafts and snacks. They were all very grateful for our time and donations and we all were happy to give a hot meal.
